Adding the MCP to your organization's Claude account
For the Claude Owner (one-time setup)
If you're not a Primary Owner or Owner of your organization's Claude account, send this section to whoever is. Only they can add a custom connector.
Adding MedScout to Claude for the first time
Sign in to Claude with owner access and go to this link.
In the Connectors section, click Add custom connector
Fill in two fields:
- Name: MedScout
- MCP server URL: https://mcp.medscout.io/mcp
If you're not already signed in, you'll be asked to sign in with your MedScout credentials.
Click Add and ensure Allow All is selected. MedScout now appears in the connectors list for all users.
As a Claude owner, you can "Allow All" and then individually set a specific tool to "Needs Approval" or "Blocked" if needed.
NOTE: Each user still authenticates individually with their own MedScout credentials, so adding the connector doesn't grant anyone access to data or give additional permissions they don't already have in MedScout.
